RMPHL to join WHCL

WHCL Welcomes new division
September 2nd will mark the start of a new era for the former RMPHL. As of this date all 10 former Rockey Mountain Petroleum Hockey League teams will join the WHCL in what will be known as the Creemore Springs division.
Rules are still being finalized to bridge the gap in the differences, but the WinSport Hockey Canada League will be setting up division specific rules a lot like the Strongbow division. The Creemore springs division will be made up of players currently employed in the Oil and Gas sector, and will include a no divisional allignment clause.
The WHCL is excited to add these 10 teams to our current 96, to form one of the largest leagues in the city. We look forward to fast paced competative, enjoyable hockey for everyone involved.
