Welcome to all the 2012-13 WHCL Teams

Increasing the number of divisions from five to ten will give us more competitive divisions and a place where everyone can have a chance to win on any night.

You may see some new faces at the rink as well; the WHCL would like to welcome new Officials this season.  In doubling the size of the league we have added new Referee’s and Scorekeeper’s to our team.  These new officials are jumping in with both feet and are excited to officiate some of the most competitive hockey in Calgary.   Please help us with welcoming these new folks.

Continuing with last season’s format, we are a couple games into our seeding round and we will be assessing each division over their first 7 games.  Feedback from all teams, and officials, as well as the scores will be used to ensure all 10 divisions remain highly competitive.  The WHCL will be in contact with teams with potential for movement after game 6, if you have not spoken with the league after game 6 regarding the seeding round and are concerned with your teams divisional placement please contact Shane.Meahan@winsportcanada.ca
