The WHCL is happy to announce that the 2012/13 season filled up in record time. With 35 of the original 40 teams returning from the 21011-12 season it opened 45 spots for interested teams. The WHCL is happy to announce that the 2012/13 season filled up in record time. With 35 of the original 40 teams returning from the 21011-12 season it opened 45 spots for interested teams. We then released the information to our current summer teams, with 19 of them taking advantage of the early information release.
With 54 of a possible 80 spots taken before the public release on July 18th there were just 26 spots left for the public. Once the season information was released at the 9:00 AM the phone at the WHCL rang off the hook with teams calling as many as 26 teimes before getting through.
The theme of the day was persistance. With 26 spots being filled in under 4 hours and another 12 teams requesting the wait list.
All 80 spots have been accounted for and teams will start to see schedules in the next month. I look forward to working with you all throught the 2012/13 season and beyond.
