Well it’s that time of year. Playoffs start on Tuesday evening, and it's time to make sure you are aware of the playoff qualification rules, and eligibility requirements. As well as making sure you know where to find the schedules.
Playoff Schedules
The playoff schedule starts August 9th. The elimination rounds go until August 15th. Every team will play 1 game this week. The round robin games will run from August 16th to 25th. And the 4 remaining teams will each play 3 games over these 9 days. The dates were randomly selected, and are now locked in and will not be changed. All Championship games will take place August 28th.

Player Qualification/Eligibility
***IMPORTANT*** ***ALL PLAYERS REQUIRE GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID***
All players in the WHCL are required to have played 6 games to qualify for playoffs. There are no exceptions to this regardless of injury, work schedules, job changes, or schooling issues.
Teams with forfeit wins will receive 1 game credit for each forfeit win for every player on the roster. Players will not see an increase in games played on their record, the WHCL administration will do the calculation while cutting down the rosters.
***IMPORTANT*** ***ALL PLAYERS REQUIRE GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID***
All players will be required to produce photo ID for EVERY playoff game. This rule has been in effect since the inception of the league, and every year someone goes and gets their new ID on the start of playoffs showing up with a paper driver’s license. School ID, Work ID, Library cards, and paper temporary licenses are not acceptable forms of ID. Players must produce a valid driver’s license, passport, or government issued photo ID. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Plan ahead, take a photo of your driver’s license just in case you forget your wallet.
Any player found to be playing without ID will cause their team to forfeit the game.
