The WHCL has completed the returning team portion of registration. The last 2 weeks saw 90 of 93 invited teams return; with the 3 teams from the 2015-16 season that were not invited back due to off-ice conduct, this has left vacancies for 6 new teams into the WHCL.
The WHCL will make every effort to ensure the new teams brought into the league will be the right fit for the league as well as the division they are being brought into. To give us the most accurate information we are asking all interested teams fill out the following application.

Once the application has been completed, please send it in to WinSport. The application will be reviewed and if a team is successful they will be invited to join the league. Upon success, the team will need to pay the deposit of $2000 to confirm their spot in the league.
League fees for a new team into the WHCL are $12,000. This will grant the team 28 regular season games starting no later than 10:30 PM, 1 guaranteed playoff game, insurance coverage for all players, access to WinSport event pre-buy codes (when applicable), MCHH awards for in game performance, as well as a chance to win the $500 credit towards 2017-18 season fees for winning a division championship.
Payment details for successful teams are as follows:
$2000 deposit due upon acceptance into the league
$5000 first payment due August 26th
$5000 final payment due December 16th
One vacancy is in our Strongbow division. This division has the division specific rule that all skaters must be over the age of 40 before playing. As this specific rule will either rule team oout of the division or not, please let us know on the application if that is the division you are applying for.
