Benders are the Big Spenders for the Summer 2015 season

Talk about a successful first season in the WHCL.
The Benders joined the Newcastle division, in May. After 13 official regular season games they finished with a 7 - 6 record for 5th place in the division. Their 14th game was a 7-6 loss to the Mustard Tigers who were moved up a division part way through the season.
Throughout the season the Benders saw their team rep Steve Kehoe named the Summer 2015 player of the year, and team mate Jason Heil win the trip for 2 to the NHL All-Star game in Nashville. They were able to make it to the Newcastle division final and fell 6-2 to the Hornets.
The Benders were also able to turn their team comradery into the biggest spenders in the Molson Canadian Hockey House. Every game win or lose the Benders would frequent their favorite watering hole and have now won a team party hosted by Molson.
