Returning team registration has completed. The WHCL has seen its most successful returning team percentage since the league inception.
This season 104 of 106 teams will be returning to the league. The vacancies are in the Granville Island and Strongbow divisions. There is one vacancy in each division and the WHCL is now accepting applications for these two spots.
For interested teams, here are some of the requirements.
Granville Island: Division 11 of the league. Teams must fit into this division skill wise. We are not looking to enter a team just to have them move up pultiple divisions.
Strongbow Division: This is the over 40 division. To play here ever member of your team must be a minnimum of 40 years of age to play any game in this division.
Interested team can submit a list of qualifications (previousl league, and division) as well as a list of confirmed players (including D.O.B.) to Shane.Meahan@winsport.ca to be considered for one of these openings. Successful teams will be contacted by Thursday July 9th if they are successful in joining the WHCL.
