WHCL Player of the Year takes home more hardware

To say the Aticia Ayers of the Lucky pucks had a great season would be an understatement.  Aticia was voted Player of the Game in all but 1 game leading up to the All-Star game giving her the nod as Player of the year.  In that game she stopped every shot she faced, giving her a shutout.  Last night she was able to put the icing on her cake as she backstopped the Luck Pucks to a 5-4 victory. 
The game was the most emotional of the 9 finals this week.  The crown was into it, and both teams played their hearts out.  The Lucky Pucks had to endure 3 faceoffs in their own end in the final minute of play, the last one coming with just 1 second left, and the Calgary Frames were able to get a quality scoring chance, only to be turned away.
